About Parnika

I am a junior at Cranbrook Schools, and I am passionate about gender equality for Public Policy, education, and health care. I believe that understanding and addressing these issues will help create a better society. I am committed to learning and sharing my perspective on these issues. During my freshmen year I have interned at medical offices, gaining firsthand insight into healthcare processes , and  I am working with global health charity for 4 years, where I have prepared and shipped birth kits to 3rd world countries preventing infant mortality rates, and leading their fundraising gala events. I’ve taken bioethics and econometrics at Brown and Duke, which have strengthened my understanding of policy, data analysis, and the ethical dilemmas in healthcare. Additionally I have learned Python coding and I have raised money for multiple nonprofits. Finally I am part of a student ambassador club at my school. Throughout this blog, I hope to raise awareness, spark thoughtful conversations, and inspire others to take action toward positive change.​​​
